As a highly respected firm of lawyers and crown solicitors, Meredith Connell approached Gaze with a very specific brief. Most of the employees needed an office and a large amount of storage. There were to be more central, open plan spaces for support staff and a floor almost all of which was to be dedicated to more public space for reception / meetings etc.

Gaze addressed this brief by combining a custom made storage unit with the partitioning to each ‘office.’ On levels 15 and 16, these partitions are not full height, which, along with the glazed sliding doors and partitions to the front affords a more open plan feel to the space and lets as much natural light through as possible.

The overall outcome of this project was to open up the offices, while sympathetically combining a mixture of the traditional with the contemporary both in a material and functional manner.
